Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at the well who is thirsty both physically and spiritually. She has searched for love and acceptance through five marriages and is now living with another man. We too can search for love, acceptance, satisfaction, or purpose through relationships and other things, yet still find ourselves unfulfilled. Jesus shows her that He alone can truly satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart through reconciliation with God and an ongoing relationship with Him through the Spirit.
