Home Groups
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)
Redeemer Church does not only meet on Sundays in a large meeting forum. We also meet during the week in homes across the island. It is in small group meetings like this where we truly get to know one another better and learn how to walk the journey of faith together. Right from the earliest days of church history, we find the church meeting together in homes, sharing meals together and sharing their lives with one another. Home Groups is the way Redeemer Church seeks to live out this rich heritage of our Christian faith.
In a Home Group meeting, you can expect warm and friendly people, some hospitality in the form of eats and drinks and a spiritual discussion which you can feel free to participate in at the level where you feel comfortable. Prayer is also a key aspect of this time together as we bring to God the needs of those in the group as well as other topics of prayer. There is no obligation to join any group and you are free to visit some of the groups before settling down in one group.
Home Groups are one of the primary ministries of Redeemer Church and we encourage everyone to take the leap of faith into the world of closer relationships and the journey together in the life of faith.
