Redeemer Church started as a prayer meeting and much of what we see today is an answer to the prayers of those who have gone before. Through prayer, we have seen the church grow, get through hard times and achieve breakthrough in the lives of her members.
But it is not only our own experience that motivates us to pray. Jesus, himself, was a man of prayer and he taught his disciples to pray. They continued their ministry with this same pattern, and the early church left us a record of powerful and engaging prayers in the book of Acts.
As Redeemer Church, we are committed to bringing our requests and thanksgivings to God regularly. We also seek to capture the stories of answered prayers, which you can see in the videos below.
We also have a weekly prayer meeting every Friday morning at 6:30 am on the church premises. We’d love for you to join us.
Partner with us in Prayer
We have partnered with My City Church in Curepipe and the Baptist Church in the North to pray for our nation as a community on a regular basis. Every two months, there is an Open Prayer Meeting that happens at one of those locations, where we come together to pray.
These meetings are open to anyone with a passion for prayer and we encourage you to join us. You can find out when the next one is happening by checking out our events page.
