Our services have a welcoming atmosphere, with a time of singing songs of worship, followed by preaching from the Bible. A typical service usually lasts about an hour with tea and coffee afterwards as we enjoy getting to know one another better in an informal setting.

On the first Sunday of every month, we share a time of Communion together during the service.

Our online video follows the same format as our Sunday services. The service is live-streamed from our Black River location and consists of a short welcome, a time of worship and a message from the Bible.

We have a service every Sunday in Black River at 9:30 am. 

We also have two meetings a month in the North at 9:30 am, and a home-style service in the South every Sunday at 9:00 am.

For those who are unable to be at a service in person, you can join us online with a livestream of our Black River service on YouTube at 9:30 am every Sunday.

As the restrictions on in-person meetings have been lifted, there’s no longer a need to sign up for services. You can join us at our location in Black River at 9:30 am every Sunday. 

All our services – Black River and Online – are in English. However, we also sing some songs in French too.

We have an active Kids’ Ministry programme that takes place during the service every Sunday during the school term. Our classes start from 3 years old and include kids’ worship and a message. 

We also have a Toddler’s Room for children aged 1 to 3 and a Mother’s Room for babies, with access to the livestream, so parents can still hear the message being preached.

Redeemer Church has no dress code. You can come in whatever you feel comfortable in. Some people will wear smarter clothes, and others tend to come in shorts or jeans. It’s up to you. Flip flops are even welcome!

We don’t have a church bus. However, we do have a student shuttle bus that goes from three locations in Flic en Flac every Sunday morning as follows:

Jumbo Express: Arrives at 08:10 and leaves at 08:20
Total Garage: Leaves at 08:25
Student Life Residence: Arrives at 08:35 and leaves at 08:45
