After the 12 disciples had walked with Jesus for some time, there was something about his life that grabbed their attention. They sensed it was critical to his life and ministry. They wanted to know more. Eventually, they gathered around him and asked him about it: “Teach us to pray.” This was their request, and this is something that we desperately need today, too. May God help us to grow in the practice of prayer as we examine the Lord’s prayer together.
