One of the greatest problems of our culture and the times we live in is loneliness. There are more people in the world than there have ever been. We have more means to connect with one another than we have ever had. And yet, people feel more alone than they ever have. Somehow, we have lost our ability to make and foster healthy relationships that go beyond a superficial level. And yet the human race was designed for relationships. Designed to love and be loved. Designed to live for the common good and not just for our own well-being. The incredible thing is that God calls himself our friend.
