Like those who have gone before us we are called to run a race, to walk a journey of faith with God. In doing so we should cast off everything that would hinder, restrain, obstruct or distract us from pursuing the goal and fix our eyes on Jesus. Jesus who is our help, counsel and shield and gives us direction and instruction in the way that we should walk.
