In Luke 15, Jesus tells three parables: the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin and the Lost Son, also known as the Parable of the Prodigal Son. The three parables tell us the story about how God actively seeks out the lost and rejoices when they come home. In the Parable of the Prodigal Son, we see the story of two brothers – one that goes and one that stays – and the heart of their father.
