Prayer was something that Jesus often did, specifically in the time just before his arrest at the garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives. In his most stressful time, he quietened and spent time in prayer, aligning his will with that of the Father. When we face stressful times in our lives, we too need a Garden at Gethsemane. A place where we can recognise that we’re not strong enough or wise enough to do what God has called us to do alone, but that we can do it if we align ourselves with Him and trust in his ultimate plan.
