Jesus is the master of sudden appearances. Even though he wasn’t where the two Mary’s expected him to be – in the tomb – it doesn’t mean that Jesus was missing. Often, he’s not there when we expect him to be and then he suddenly appears when we are not expecting him. But even if you didn’t find him where you expected to, Jesus is still here, and he is suddenly becoming real to people today – just as he appeared to the two Mary’s two thousand years ago. He’s not the body in the tomb, but the risen Lord Jesus Christ – King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
