Our perspective and God’s are like the two sides of a tapestry. When you look at one side of the tapestry it is a beautiful picture crafted with creative excellence and where every thread is in the perfect place to portray the image the artist has in mind. The other side looks like a tangled mess. When something bad happens in our lives, we see this random thread that seems to have no purpose whatsoever – no contribution to a beautiful life, just chaos and disorder. But when you look at the picture from God’s perspective, he takes that thread and weaves it into the perfect place to fill out the picture he is making from your life. God is not the source of evil or suffering – but he is capable of taking those situations and making something beautiful out of them.
