What do we mean by a culture of hospitality? Well, throughout the history of the bible, hospitality has been a characteristic of the people of God. We find stories in the Old Testament where hospitality is just assumed by strangers approaching a city and passing through. There are so many benefits to the practice of hospitality – one unusual one being the possibility of entertaining angels unawares!
